We are cups, constantly and quietly being filled. The trick is, knowing how to tip ourselves over and let the beautiful stuff out. ~ Ray Bradbury

Hello and welcome to Stars for Dreams! I am Lorra Elena Angbue-Te, and this is where I share my adventures in my recently declared eternal pursuit of art, my favorite crafts, and my happy travels.

As a visual storyteller and artist, I promise my clients and audience that the art I create for them comes from and tells a narrative. Stories are important to me because the stories we tell live on, long after we’re gone, whether they’re in pictures, words, or both. My chosen medium is watercolor, but I also create digital illustrations using Photoshop.

I’m currently working at home, but the big dream is to one day set up my own studio space and paperie store. That, or start living in a traveling art caravan!

I absolutely love paper, and I think it’s the perfect vessel to make my stories come alive. For now, I occasionally join bazaars and will soon re-launch my online store where I’ll be selling notebooks, postcards, prints, mugs, and accessories. And all with a positive and happy feel to it!

Outside of this world, I also co-create a weekly webcomic with my husband, Elbert Or, called Homeycomb: A Married Life that’s all about our life as husband and wife. With a bonus of sometimes exaggerated moments! Have you seen our pet dinosaur yet?

We also co-founded Pushpin Visual Solutions, a creative studio-team that specializes in visual notetaking and graphic recording, for better idea retention, clarity, comprehension, and improved engagement.
